Beings that are aware of us
And everything we do?

Do you think they wonder
What we're doing with our lives?
Do you think they pity us
Seeing all that we do

Waging wars, killing children
Oppressing and tormenting
Pollution and global warming
Destructing and depleting.

Do you wonder why they fear
Showing themselves to us?
Maybe we should see ourselves
From a different perspective.

Then we'll see ourselves
For what we really are
Beastly and inconsiderate
No compassion or love.

So look in a mirror
And see your self
When you leave this world
What do you wish to leave behind?
